Important Info for 2025 Roosevelt Volleyball

Player Information Meetings
Monday, 6/2 3:30pm: for current 9th-11th graders at RHS in Room 231.

Tuesday, 6/3 at 3:30pm: for current 6th-8th graders at Sanford Middle School & Anderson’s DLI pathway program. Location will be Sanford, room TBD.

Evaluations
8am-12pm Monday, 8/11 - Wednesday, 8/13 in the Main Gym.
Teams announced via email the morning of Thursday, August 14th.

Open Gyms
Unstructured opportunities for open-play. Coaches will set up games on different courts.
School Year: 6/2, 6/3, and 6/4 from 3:30-5:30pm Main Gym
Summer: 6/9, 6/11, 6/16, 6/18, 6/23, 6/25 time TBD, likely 1-3pm

Skills Clinics
Structured opportunities for skill-development. Coaches will run drills, providing feedback for all players. Skills clinics are strongly encouraged.

  • 7/7: Serve and Serve Receive, time TBD, likely 1-3pm
  • 7/9: Setting, time TBD, likely 1-3pm
  • 7/14: Defense, time TBD, likely 1-3pm
  • 7/16: Offense, time TBD, likely 1-3pm

Captains Practices
Player-run, parent-supervised opportunities for players to get reps in before evaluations. These will be held the week of August 4th. Time TBD.
