I started my cheerleading career my freshman year of high school; I was cheer captain both my junior and senior years. I continued on to cheer collegiately at Montana State University. For other reasons left unsaid I transferred schools to be closer to home. During this time I attended the University of Colorado and was the head cheerleading coach of a high school team. The process of becoming a coach for that team, much like becoming the coach to RHS, was a serendipitous find. Coaching reignited my own passion for the sport and I had to make a difficult decision to take a chance on what remained of my own collegiate athletic career. I left the coaching position to become a competitive cheerleader at the University of Minnesota. I cheered on the AllGirl team for two years before I received an injury that immediately ended my athletic career. Since receiving my injury, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with my Bachelor's in Kinesiology.

My time at the University of Minnesota set me up for success to be knowledgeable in the field of sport performance and exercise. I have 10 years of coaching and training experience. I am a personal trainer and strength/conditioning coach at LifeTime and have experience working with several youth sports performance teams through the company, N1 Motion. I am currently a medical technician and a Chiropractic Assistant. I plan to return to the U of M medical school to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
