Roosevelt Coach Wins Prestigious Honor 

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Minneapolis Roosevelt Athletic program is proud to announce that Boys Basketball Head Coach Donald Groce has been recognized by the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) as the 2025 MN Section 3, Class AAA Coach of the Year.

Donnie has been the head coach of the program since 2021. He is a graduate of Roosevelt, Class of 1997 where he was a member of several Teddy teams that made it to the State Tournament as well as being recognized with multiple individual awards for his play, like the MN All-State team and All-Conference to name a few.
