The past few years have been exciting for Roosevelt High School basketball. The boys’ program has grown so much that we've added B-level and C-level teams. Boys varsity head coach Donald Groce was named the 2025 Section 3AAA Coach of the Year. The girls’ team made it to the state tournament in 2024 (a first in the history of the 100-year-old school) and the team is actively rebuilding after seniors graduated.
Increased participation and success have highlighted wear-and-tear and fit issues with our aging uniform inventory. Unfortunately, due to major budget cuts of over $75 million in the Minneapolis Public Schools system, there is no funding available to replace them.
We’re raising $14,500 to buy new home and away uniforms for both the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams. Your support will help us keep up with the momentum and ensure all players are properly outfitted.
Please consider donating—every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for supporting Teddy Basketball!
