OUR PROGRAM VALUES AND PHILOSOPHY
2025 Program Philosophy:
• Love of the Game: Our program will help players see the role of hobbies in lifelong physical and mental wellness. Our goal is that all players end the season with a deepened love of the game and a desire to continue playing long after high school.
• High Skill, Higher IQ: Our program will help players be life-long learners. Our goal is that all players will end the season with a higher skill level and a greater understanding of the game.
• Better People, Better Players: Our program will help players develop their ability to communicate, collaborate, and set goals. Our goal is that all players end the season having grown as people and players.
2025 Program Values:
• Support: Volleyball is a game of support — you can’t set without a pass or attack without a set. Our players support each other on and off the court. We seek to develop collaborative young people who ask how they can support others in their community.
• Ownership: Volleyball is a game of ownership — every point starts with someone saying “mine.” Our players own their responsibilities, successes, and, most importantly, their mistakes. We seek to develop young people who can own-up when they mess-up and make a plan to fix it and do better in the future.
• Growth: Volleyball is a game of growth — every point gives you an opportunity to do something better than the one before. Our players focus on growth as the goal, not winning. We seek to develop young people who can set and meet goals so they and their teammates can grow.
