Teddies Tennis Fest 2025 is Big Success

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Minneapolis Roosevelt Tennis Program hosted it's annual Teddies Tennis Fest at Lake Hiawatha on Saturday. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls tennis program and is the brainchild of Girls Head Coach Jack Nelson who poured hours and hours into securing interest, logistics and sponsors to raise $6,000 on the first day of the celebration.

The event featured Cardio Tennis hosted by Christin Schumann, RSPA Elite Tennis Professional and National Cardio Tennis Trainer as well as Open Play tennis mixers.

Thank you to the players and volunteers that came together with a common goal of building a tennis community in Southeast Minneapolis.
