Roosevelt Celebrates Being Recognized as Unified Champion School 

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Minneapolis Roosevelt Athletics Department announces that the school has been awarded & recognized as a 2025 Special Olympics National Champion School.

This honor reflects our staffs’ incredible dedication year-after-year as a MN Unified Champion School AND Roosevelt is the first Minneapolis school to have been recognized with this national award!

To celebrate there will be a Banner Reveal Ceremony. This banner will be displayed with Jack Wells Gymnasium.

5:30 - Boys Varsity vs Washburn
6:40 - Banner Ceremony
7:00 - Girls Varsity vs Washburn
7:40 - Unified Alumni Game at halftime
