MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Minneapolis Roosevelt Athletics program celebrates the life and contributions of beloved teacher and coach Robert “Bob A” Anderson.
Bob recently passed away at 91 years old.
Bob A was an important part of Roosevelt’s success for many years as a Special Education teacher, football coach, baseball coach and mentor to countless students.
Later he was a founding member of the Roosevelt Foundation & Golf Tournament fundraiser. This program continues to be an important funding drive for all of Roosevelt’s athletics and groups leading to years of impact and to directly contributing to the school’s success.
Bob was an athlete (member of the U of M’s 1956 Championship baseball team) who translated his experience and skill to others in teaching and guiding them on and off the field.
Thank you Bob for all of those that you made an impact on.
Rest in peace.
